This unit works as advertised. No water bucket to be removed. I like the features and the design is attractive. Not as noisy as I thought.

We had the unit running for about five hours and my wife and I were both pleasantly surprised that the temperature in our bedroom was a lot cooler than before. I think that at the price I paid this unit represents reasonably good value for money. Hopefully, this unit will pay off in the long run.

Unit leaks in humidity

First of all this does not have adequate cooling for a hot summer day and secondly, you need to constantly drain the unit of water if not it will leak all over the surrounding area. I don't think that is a sign of a well designed machine. It is quite light and portable but it doesn't not work as expected.

I would recommend this portable unit due to its price and EER rating compared to other brands. It works excellent in my room, which has brought this room's temperature down to about 70°, on a 85° day at noon.
